Neuropsychological evaluations can be warranted for both children and adults in a variety of circumstances.

For children:
  • When the child struggles academically or isn't keeping up with classmates
  • When extended time or other testing accommodations are warranted
  • Following a concussion or other type of brain injury
  • For unexplained deficits in the child's social or cognitive skills

For adults:
  • When the adult is having difficulties with focus and concentration at work and there is a question of ADD/ADHD
  • To obtain extended time or other accommodations on graduate entrance exams (GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT, etc.) or professional exams (FINRA, Bar Exam, Teacher Certification, etc.)
  • Following a concussion, stroke, or other type of brain injury
  • To evaluate brain function during the course during the course of Alzheimer's, dementia, or other similar conditions

The evaluation occurs across several meetings and includes 8-10 hours face-to-face with the client. Click here to learn more about the details of a neuropsychological assessment.

Fees and Hours
My fee is $325 per hour; I also offer a sliding scale as appropriate. A full neuropsychological evaluation typically encompasses 15-21 hours including the clinical interview, testing, scoring, report writing, and client feedback meetings.

Although I do not accept insurance directly, clients can usually be reimbursed for much of the cost by their insurance company. Although I can't guarantee reimbursement, I will assist you with your insurance reimbursement claim forms.
